RAP = CRAP
>>>>>no talent<<<<<<<<
too right :D
with out white people black rappers have no beat ;)
look at almost all of p-diddy's crap rap, an example is his "I'll be missing you" which took the guitar from Sting
more recently ja rule's "murder reigns" which took its backround music from the Toto classic africa rain

isent he dead????
if only he was
Rap sucks, DOWN WTH THE SCKNESS W00T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
\m/ = Devil horns :D
eh when in rome RAP IS POO!
I like country music
I like country girls
but if theres one thing I cant staaand
and thats raaap is craaap
Didn't some wrestler sing that? lol. Can't remember if it was WCW or WWF at the time...Just metioning it cause it came to my head when I read the reply's.
Don't knock rap till you hear...MEXICAN rap!!
Heh its not my music preference(rap) but if you really look around past all the pop/hip hop stuff, it aint all bad.
anyone ever heard aussie rap/hip-hop... it cant really be described, crap comes to mind, but whenever i hear it i cant change the song, like i long for the sound of bogans trying to sing in rap style...weird
i like rap, i like a lot of music, but rap/rnb/hip/hop urban stuff is all i listen to.
Ive said it before, i hate, damn well ******* hate those who pay out others music.
aussie hip hop....bogans singing...boner what sort of narrowminded **** are you? aussie hip hop is awesome, just as good as anywhere else, try it out, if you dare walk off the path that everyone else seems to be on.
also, what's your hate against eminem? cos his rich, and pulls more money and pussy u ever will? listen to his lyrics, his a master with words.
i read in time mag that a 60 year old nobel winner (in music i guess) was asked to name the next john lennon....he said eminem.
go figure.
i generally dislike Rap. Generally.
Eminem is one of the few rap artists that i truly enjoy. along with LL Cool J, Coolio, NWA and Dragon Ash but i just don't much like 2Pac, Snoop or P.Diddy (daddy, puffy whatever) and artists like them (personal preference but i can see how others enjoy that style of rap).
cow no offence, but m&m makes words about killing his mum and shit like that... etc drugs.
so .... she made him wear tha alf shirt.. i'd be pissed off 2!
eminem very good at what he does don't mind his rap... i'm into same as cow rnb rap etc.. also a bit of Blink and AFI is the band i into atm.. so...
i feel soooo old now
you guys talk about rap and rnb in the same sentence yet to me rnb always meant rythym and blues!?!
i think it stinks how it can take the place of a genre as in rnb
UP THE RYTHYM AND BLUES!!!!!
UP THE IRONS!!!!!
Quote from Cow:
his a master with words.
amen brother. man i like heaps of music, rap, hip hop, old school rap, heavy all the way to SlaYeR and Maiden all sorts of stuff. but what cow said is right, the way eminem uses words is fucking amazing. he makes anything rhyme with anything and can make a whole song from scratch on demand. id like to see you do that.
Quote from Lucifer Dragar:
UP THE IRONS!!!!!
but of course you cant go past SliPKnoT
Heretic. maggot :) (soz tn1)
hrmm... at least he has the mind to include melodic music in his songs. not just a constant boom tappy beat.
wat is wrong with people changing?. rap music does not mean it is black mans music.
i hate rap. no skill required. just stand up and talk. the beats are so fkn simple i could play them (and thats sad).
however.
eminem is extremely good with lyrics. i dont like him but my mum does...
does your mum look like kim basinger??? :?
go alf!!
i dont like much rap music, but i listen to anything thats good, which includes rap. If someone says "ppfft, im not listening to that cos its rap'(or country or punk... whatever) then your just narrow minded and no doubt missing out. give everything a chance before you decide to not like it.
Sif bag on a particular music style.
Smiddy. If it takes no skill, why arent you a million dollar a year rap artist?
lol milenko nice question. the thing is everyone here that has bagged out rap hasnt really listened to it. and found out how fucking hard it would be to make a song of any type.

Because his a pessimist.....and to quote myself, a narrowminded ****
Mums always make you wear stupid clothes, my favourite shirt as a kid was my ninja turtles one, what could ever beat the turtles
Quote from Cow:
what could ever beat the turtles
samuri pizza cats
It'd come close evil, samurai pizza cats were awesome (minus the one with the umbrella :S), but turtles had cool toys, remember the pizza truck, and the hot air balloon thingo
i had that toy, was cool casue when you shot some one with the pizza's disc's they hurt.
eminem, tupac, de la soul<- teh bomb. frankly i think most of the other rappers are shite. Obie Trice is good in love me from the 8 mile soundtrack, and DMX is better when supporting other rappers.
i liek rap
some is great
dre
pac
some eminem but he is still gash
eazy e
cube (a little)
Cypriss Hill are good as well, can't go wrong with some cypriss hill especially if thier playing a concert in Holland ;).
No, seriously though no ones really mentioned any South American rap(mainly Mexican). My brother listens to it and its actually very good and much better on the ears than all the mainstream stuff like people have been mentioning.
Got good latin inspired tunes rather than all the usual boom boom boom. Thier accents also seem to go hand in hand with rapping, very fluint and free flowing :).
Listen to,
Lil Rob (um no, he aint no rip off of lil bow wow, he was most likely ripped off)
Mr Capone (He farking Cap0wNes)
Clicka One
Deliquent Habits (I like them teh most)
Orishas
Just some good ones my brother mainly listens to and if you really do like rap then you owe it to yourself to check this stuff out.

Because i am terribly f*cking slow. If i get payed out i just stand there stunned :D.
hmm, i am just slow thats the way i am.
EDIT: But i can rhyme... eg.
You're as loose as a goose with a moose up its kaboose. :D.
Oh and i think jurassic five (its CAN-A-BUS! CAN-A-BUS!) and azn pride (got rice bitch? got rice? got food? got soup? got spice? got skills like us? got brains like us? got clothes? got girls? got cars like us?)
they mustve read lots of dr. sues when they were kids. and although we are saying they have "no skill" i think we mean comparing being able to rhyme (omg they must be fkn genius' to rhyme with muthafucka!!), with being able to sing (thats sing, not talk) and play guitar to an amazing level and to have actually written the songs there singing. i think that requires an assload more skill than talking about life in teh ghetto.im got no beef with kids who listen to rap, its only when i see white kids at my local shopping centre with lots of bling and dada jerseys etc that i start to think they might be taking it too seriously. whats worse is when people start saying things like "man, their lyrics are full deep. i can really understand where theyre coming from and i think that snoop is the only dogg in the world that can really understand what i feel in my heart." the thing is, i dont think any of these kids were ever in a drive by nor were they involved in heavy gang activity (chillin with your broz in a food court and harrasing biatchazzz doesnt count either). oh and i reckon the the bestest, most fantabulous fashion i often see these kids sporting is the phat shorts that you see guys wearing but instead them going just below the knees where theyre spose to, they go to about a cm above the ankle so it sorta looks like 3/4 pants but dont crumple up like they would if they were extra long and still have a really wide bottom on em. and sifnt aussie hip hop. these guys kick absolute ass as i dont think they actually take themselves so seriously. oh i also think that break dancers have an excuse to listen to hip hop etc to break it down to as they have uber quantities of skill and look funky when theyre spinning around on their heads. and yes i realise i have 0 ability to paragraph.
peace out yo and remember, keep it real.
its all your opinions. this forum is obviously full of people who dis like rap
all i know is that bdo is going to go off!
its too far away. but ive got livid in the mean time ^_^
keke linkin park are gonna get pwned by people throwing shit at them. hurrah
got paid yesterday so i can get livid tickits HORAY!
jurassic 5 rocks ur socks. CHALI 2NA!! 50 cent has some ok songs, but he's tonedeaf same as ja rule and jay Z. and i think the problem with a lot of you people is that you associate the whole hip-hop/rap scene with gangs and wannabes. half of us couldn't give a shit who biggie slept with the night before he died, and half of the gangs around darwin *cough*POL*cough* haven't got a clue what (some of the better) artists are actually singing about.
1200 techniques - karma baby :D
