Gran Turismo 5 midnight launches and cheapest prices

Quote from ResLo;392208: Current prices are "38 for the GT Pro (Dick Smiths) or $394 (staticice) for the G27. If you want to know how the GT feels bring your PS3 over to my place for an afternoon :)Rec is very much into his driving games and will tell you himself that his GT wheels did the job for years, he only we…

Gran Turismo 5 midnight launches and cheapest prices

Quote from rec;392052: Yeah, the Logitech Driving Force GT is the best bang for buck - excellent wheel. Or if you're cashed up, Logitech G27. Was looking at a G27 today... Whats the diff between them, and is the diff worth $350 or so?

Nokia 5800

Quote from Korny;365886: n97 willbe out next month :D But not $0 on a $49 cap..... Quote from ResLo;365887: I'd go the iphone. Thats what I reckon too... (How's the weather! :D)

Nokia 5800

Optus just rang my wife offering her a Nokia 5800 with 12 months free music download as a renewal on her $49 cap plan. Does anyone have any experience with the 5800?? Online reviews seem mixed. Would a current model iPhone on the same plan be a better deal?

PS3: Best racing game?

PMSL! I reckon I'll grab GT5 for starters, and have to put Burnout on the shopping list by the sounds of it.....

PS3: Best racing game?

Cool, thanks for that. I was leaning towards GT5, so might kick off with with that...

PS3: Best racing game?

Hey there. Not having played any myself, what do people recommend as the best racing game? GT5P sounds good, but obviously only the 'lite' version of the full one. I've read some dodgy reviews of Grid, and worse ones of Ridge Racer 7. Dirt seems ok? What should I go for?

Sony Bravia X vs W series

Quote from rec;348541: Whoever tells you there are none are liars. Myer's Melbourne warehouse has 150+ in each size, as a good example. ;) LOL He also told me that over 5,000 of the PS3's went yesterday alone. Current counter: 32,911

Sony Bravia X vs W series

Quote from rec;348479: Choose one of the offers, and ask them to match it, because you wont get both, anywhere. You were right. (of course, retail guru! :p) DJ's wouldnt match as well as give bonus warranty, but they did match The Good Guys price of $3,288...... And they had one in stock, as opposed to the guy in JB…

Sony Bravia X vs W series

Quote from Daughter_of_Misery;348468: The X has 100hz motion flow, the W doesn't Aha, mystery solved. Thanks for that. DJ's are offering free 5 year extended warranty. So if they match $3399 for 46in 'X', give 5 year warranty and free PS3, is that sounding like a decent deal?

Sony Bravia X vs W series

I forgot to add, according to the website, the RRP's are $4099 for 'X', and $3499 for 'W' 46 inch. Myer currently have the X out for $3399.

Sony Bravia X vs W series

Hey all. The current 'free PS3' offer has got me interested in finally joining the world of HD tv. Can anyone tell me the difference between the X and W models? I've compared specs, and it seems like the W has better contrast ratio, and one more HDMI input, but is otherwise the same? Is 'X' being superseded by 'W'? …

Advice on PSP?

I think you've omitted your sarcasm smiley...... :D A mate is going to Hong Kong soon, where according to the PSP website you can still get the 'value pack' for an RRP equiv to $240, or the slim & lite alone for the equiv of about "80 IIRC. Might have to splurge.....

Adelaide

Quote from insidious;342040: has to be a house (dog) about $400 / week is what i am starting at but not necessarily limited to as close to work as i can get and still be in a reasonable neighborhood Anywhere around there is more than "reasonable". Throw Parkside, Eastwood and Unley into realestate.com.au and check i…
