Was hell funny and I nearly shit myself when about 8 chickens came flying out at me from the corner.

that was one of the best games (fun) i've had of CS in a long time :) should be allowed to be enabled by admins at the request of the majority of players at the time and possibly voted in...

Well, I played for the first time in ages online last night

i think the mod needs to be refined somewhat though, cause as Rainwulf said, my framerate went to absolute crap with them running around - funny stuff though =)

Chicken wars rule :) It brings teamwork into the game soo much more.
Here we we're on dust, the entire Terrorist team were chickens. Some tactics went around, and we managed to win, making the CT team the chickens for the rest of the map. However, I think It can become unfair aswell, and PTB didn't do much about it either. A few maps later we came to prodigy. The terr team won first round, and didn't loose for the entire duration of the level. PTB was running, it just didn't do much, maybe something to be looked into?

Can still remember a group of 4 chickens attacking a poor CT. They were all gathered around him pecking him to death. Never have I seen such a sight, rampant chickens hell bent on death and destruction.

ever played that chicken mod with q2? you ran around with a chicken in your hand and you got to shoot other ppl with eggs.
thats nothin to do with CS, i just thought i would throw that in.

Are you guys sure its lag and not framage? I mean if my Voodoo3 can play this game flawlessly almost anything will. What graphics API, resolution and graphics card do you use?

Yeah i havent noticed a problem with my frames while looking at chickens running around.

OverDrive, with each map change admin_chicken_glow is set to 0 by default, do you think you could change it to admin_chicken_glow 1 so it doesn't have to be typed in every level :)

Every night I play there are friken chickens it is getting old and boring and ppl are starting leave the server its even worse when some ppl are chickens and others run around blowing themselves up ffs.
Novelty has worn well and truly for me.

Yeah same for me, its really bloody annoying when I get turned into a bomb just for the titilation of an admin with nothing better to do. I thought it was supposed to be for fun, so how about just asking the person before turning them into a bomb, or better yet put it on the Reign of Death server

I love the mod, and every night the community members ( cos it is solely on server 1 ) just about beg to be turned into a chicken..

To see a flock ( ?? ) of chickens attack 1 person is so funny I just about cry..

It really brings laughter to the game. And that can only be a good thing. Are stats so damn important to some ppl ?

Fun and enjoyment are the key things to me. The people who like the mod are the ones who havent lost focus on the fact its just a game..

The only time ive laughed about the chicken mod was when a chicken leaped towards me and exploded in mid air as i took it down with my 1337 P90 :P

Bah I have more fun just playing CS rather than having some tard chicken peck my nads to death... and the constant "Can I be a chicken"... "Chicken me!"... but I don't care I either put up with it and hope that it will stop soon or leave and go play somewhere else :) So it's all good.

I think like anything, its a fun novelty..

So basically if U like it, run amok and have fun, if U dont, dont worry too much about it. I imagine in a few months deaths by rampant chickens will be a thing of the past..

just a suggestion that the chickenglow thing be on all the time
because with ff and chickens on both teams theres no chance for differentiation, and it always takes forever to get it switched on

Chicken Glow is now always on.
