Lunch Time, Sunday.

Burk is driving down Stuart Highway, see a Blue Commodore undercover police car pulled someone over.. and has a small chuckle.. he he he

Phone rings, Do the right thing, pull over and have a chat. Result, I am to meet BrainDance at Woolworths.

Head down Smith Street, phone rings again. Decide to just pick it up whilst driving to tell them i am almost there (1st Mistake). They have changed their mind and decided to go to McDonalds.

So I get into an argument about whether they can see me or not. I decide to run them over. (2nd Mistake)

The roads are almost deserted, apart from a Blue Holden Commodore 50-100m behind me, so I change to driving on the wrong side of the road and mount the footpath, stopping facing the wrong way in a carpark to rev my engine like i was going to run them over. (3rd Mistake)

*insert sirens here*

Burk is now parked half up, half down the kerb, facing the wrong way, threatening to run over his friends....

Copper1: So.. can i see your license (and proceeds to check my rego infront of car)
Copper2: Have you seen Sesame Street?
Burk: *thinks wtf* No...?
Copper2: Not even as a kid, you never watched it.
Burk: No *hand him my license*
Copper2: So you've never heard the song One of these things is not like the other
Burk: Oh.. yes
Copper2: Well, see all these other cars.. they aren't like yours. You're facing the wrong way, aren't you.
Copper2: *looking over towards BrainDance* are these your friends?
Burk: Yes
Copper2: You were being a cockhead, weren't you?
Burk: Uhh.. Maybe
Copper2: *taunting me with my license* Admit you're a cockhead and I wont give you a ticket.
Burk: Um.. ok.. I'm a cockhead
Copper2: *hands me license* turn your car around.
Burk: And then I will watch Sesame Street for you?
Copper2: You do that.

I turned my car around.. and they left..

i was just happy not to get a ticket. I thought it was a bit rude, but i didn't feel the need to tell them and get a ticket.

Sorry man thats BS, they are working and on the job(payed by taxpayer), so police dont have to be professional? If i called or even insinuated a customer something bad(even if they abuse me) i'd loose my job, but nooo not police?

If this situation was handled professionally in the first place it would never have come to this....something like "hey what you did was wrong, here's the reasons why", then decide to write a ticket or not. Instead of baiting and trying to humiliate.

having a badge and a uniform doesnt give police the right to do what they like. They should be treating people with as much respect, as they themselves demand.

Hahaha....seriously people, they were just having fun by the sounds of things. If you want to get technical they were out of line but I mean have a sense of humour about the situation and laugh about it...everyone has to learn to laugh at themselves sometime :p
