  • The Humble Indie Bundle 3 is upon us

Support indie developers, charity, and your wallet - all at once! The latest brilliant Humble Indie Bundle gives you five great Indie games for a price of your choosing, and even lets you choose how you split that money between developers and charities. At the time of posting, Windows users are the least giving at an average of $3.64 spent, while Linux users are the most generous with a $10.38 average purchase price. Notch himself bought the pack, for a whopping $2000!

It's a great cause, a fantastically conceived sales mechanic, and you'll save a few bucks on the retail sales price as well. All games are also DRM free. So what are you waiting for? Get on over to the official website.

in my original hijacked post, I mentioned when i bought Bundle #2 they gave me the first bundle for free and that I suspected the same would happen again. Well, they have. If you spent more than the average, then you would've received an email letting you know that Braid, Cortex Command, Machinarium, Osmos, and Revenge of the Titans had been added to your HIB account.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was just updated again, making a number of changes and additions to the game. The default map has been switched from Inferno to Train, which appears to be a far better recreation than Inferno, apart from the fog issue. There are also a bunch of new weapons: the Para, the TEC-9 Pistol, the SG 552 (pictured), and the AUG....

  • Counter-Strike: Global Offensive beta impressions
    by rec
I've been shooting some face in the CS:GO beta for the first time this evening, and there's quite a bit to talk about. I should preface this impressions article with the note that while I used to play at a national level, it has been years since I've delved into any CS in any serious capacity. I'm sure there will be a number of current day elitists out there who disagree with my opinions, but I'm not claiming this as gospel, so append as much or as little weight to these opinions as you care to....
