  • Human Revolution dev says play it on PC

    Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a mere seven days from release and the Eidos hype machine is ramping up with the new TV spot seen below. It features a song called My World, created exclusively for the game by Transmissions. But before you run off and buy it for your Xbox 360, consider the developer's advice, which is to play it on the PC.

    Jurjen Katsman, founder of Nixxes Software, says "real-time tessellation, improved Screen Space Ambient Occlusion, improved blurs and depth of field" are just some of the reasons why "the PC version really is the version you should play." He adds that "we also added custom support for AMD's Eyefinity (multiple monitors), and 3DHD."

    If that's not enough to get you on the band-wagon, then consider that the game already has a 90%+ review average. PC Gamer gave it their Editor's Choice Award and 94%, calling it "A dark, cool, and beautiful revival of an incredible game."

    Games Master gives Deus Ex another 94% score, saying Human Revolution is "a once-in-a-generation kind of game." Official Xbox Magazine has given it full marks with 10/10, and Official PlayStation Magazine an 8/10.
