ID:	597343It looks like we're stuck with another Origin exclusive for the third instalment of the massively popular Mass Effect franchise. Being released on March 8, BioWare has made the announcement that the game will be available through EA's Origin service and a number of third-party retailers, but due to "restrictive terms of service which limit how developers interact with customers to deliver patches and other downloadable content" we won't see it on Steam.

"We are intent on providing Mass Effect to players with the best possible experience no matter where they purchase or play their game, and are happy to partner with any download service that does not restrict our ability to connect directly with our consumers," said BioWare's Chris Priestly on the BioWare Social Network.

      Wow.

After the trouble Ive had with their Origin store, I will just be getting mine from a retailer.
Either that, or play it on the 360.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was just updated again, making a number of changes and additions to the game. The default map has been switched from Inferno to Train, which appears to be a far better recreation than Inferno, apart from the fog issue. There are also a bunch of new weapons: the Para, the TEC-9 Pistol, the SG 552 (pictured), and the AUG....

  • Counter-Strike: Global Offensive beta impressions
    by rec
I've been shooting some face in the CS:GO beta for the first time this evening, and there's quite a bit to talk about. I should preface this impressions article with the note that while I used to play at a national level, it has been years since I've delved into any CS in any serious capacity. I'm sure there will be a number of current day elitists out there who disagree with my opinions, but I'm not claiming this as gospel, so append as much or as little weight to these opinions as you care to....

Considering that this community's roots were founded in the early betas of Counter-Strike, I'd hope at least a few of you still have an interest!
