    Click image for larger version Name: 66375506bc20a37ca280bccaf655fe6de8d2f432.jpg Views: 1 Size: 31.3 KB ID: 597277I fondly remember laying on my bedroom floor reading the latest edition of GamePro, writing a list in my notebook - an actual one, made of paper - a detailed list of which games from the issue I wanted to purchase or rent for my Super Nintendo. Sadly, GamePro is the latest gaming magazine casualty of the new millennia.

    Originally launching in 1989 the GamePro name enjoyed much success during 90s, but with shrinking interest in print publications its time is up, starting with the closure of its website on December 5. Magazine owner, IDG Games, announced today that after more than 20 years in circulation, just one more one more quarterly issue is to be published before its closure.

    For those that still love GamePro's content, IDG notes that game news and reviews will be moved into their PC World publication. Farewell, GamePro.

  • CS:GO gets a substantial content update

    Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was just updated again, making a number of changes and additions to the game. The default map has been switched from Inferno to Train, which appears to be a far better recreation than Inferno, apart from the fog issue. There are also a bunch of new weapons: the Para, the TEC-9 Pistol, the SG 552 (pictured), and the AUG....
