RAGE gets patched
RAGE had a few problems at launch, but it has been patched! Huzzah! Included in the additions and fixes are vsync and texture cache options within the menu, as well as the ability to set your own anisotropic filter level. It's noted that for those of you with AMD/ATI cards who are having a ton of issues, you should paste +jobs_numThreads 0 into RAGE's launch options within Steam for a temporary work-around. For the patch notes in their entirety, with extra information and instruction, make sure y... -

by recCounter-Strike: Global Offensive was just updated again, making a number of changes and additions to the game. The default map has been switched from Inferno to Train, which appears to be a far better recreation than Inferno, apart from the fog issue. by recI've been shooting some face in the CS:GO beta for the first time this evening, and there's quite a bit to talk about. I should preface this impressions article with the note that while I used to play at a national level, it has been years since I've delved into any CS in any serious capacity. I'm sure there will be a number of current day elitists out there who disagree with my opinions, but I'm not claiming this as gospel, so append as much or as little weight to these opinions as you care to....
